Today I took to the rooftops of London for some landscape photography with a twist! First stop was The Garden at 120. Sadly the roof garden had been closed for the bank holiday weekend, but the incredible virtual roof on the ground floor was a wonder in itself! The screen set in the ceiling switched seamlessly from city skylines and rippling lakes to lush forest treetops and real-time vistas over London. It was so interesting to photograph against the modern lines of the buildings below it and the soundscapes playing made it rather a meditative experience.
After that, there was time for a wander through the city towards One New Change which is a location I’d visited very recently on a model shoot. It had a very different feel today in the early afternoon with moody skies and far less people about and made for some great photos across the city. How amazing London’s skyline is!
